About Shealagh


Shealagh’s previous studies in the Health and Fitness Promotion program at Humber College have fostered her interest into the field of health and wellness. She truly has a passion for helping others and enjoys working towards creating stronger and healthier communities. Through this education she has become very knowledgeable in anatomy and physiology and uses this information to provide a precise and effective treatment.
Shealagh completed her studies in Massage Therapy at Georgian College in 2015. This experience exposed her to many different treatment modalities from sports massage to palliative care. Prior to practicing at her own location, Shealagh worked in other health care clinic settings in the Barrie area.
Shealagh’s massage style is client-focused and goal oriented. She incorporates a variety of techniques in her treatments such as trigger point release, myofascial release, Swedish techniques, joint mobilization, remedial exercises, PNF stretching and many more. She believes that routine therapeutic massage is very beneficial in prevention of every day repetitive strain injuries, sport related ailments and stress.
When not a work, Shealagh enjoys outdoor sports, hiking, travelling and spending time with friends and family.
